Here are some of the first images from our Brown Bears of Katmai Photography excursion(s) in September of 2017. Many more to come – these were the first to catch my eye after going through the nearly 2500 images I took during 12 days in the field. We ran three separate trips this year and are planning to do so again next September. Currently there are only two trips on the schedule and they are about 70% full. Also stay tuned for a new trip: Coastal Brown Bears of Alaska that will happen in June along the shores of Lake Clark National Park.
