Today we announce a small change to our amazing Backcountry Journeys Photography Tours and Workshops.
This change will help to provide across-the-board uniformity (with two exceptions), and also should result in earlier evening on your likely already long day traveling. Not a bad thing when you think about the typically extremely early start-times the following day.
Going forward, Backcountry Journeys guests can look forward to a 5 p.m. (local time) meeting time on your Day One/Orientation day of each tour. This is a change from our previous typical start time of 6 p.m.
The following tours will keep their specific Orientation start times to accommodate specific needs:
- Brown Bears of Katmai (all seasons/all styles): 7:45 p.m. – to accommodate flights into King Salmon.
- Ultimate Northern Lights: 8 p.m. – so that we can head out following dinner to shoot the night sky.
Look for this change to be reflected on the Backcountry Journeys’ website, within each tour’s individual Trip Packet, and inside provided pre-trip information. As always, please read carefully through any materials that you receive from BCJ prior to any tour, and followup should you have any questions or concerns.
This change will take place as soon as we are able to run our Photography Tours once again.
