As a valued member of the Backcountry Journeys family of photographers I want to thank you for trusting us to share with you some of our favorite locations across the globe through our exciting photography tours, workshops and safaris.
As a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, we understand that you will likely have questions and concerns regarding any upcoming travel.I write today with the intention of offering you up-to-date information, options, and reassurance as we navigate this troubling time.
Backcountry Journeys is closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak with an eye on what is best for the health and happiness of our guests and guides. We are committed to keeping you informed as this dynamic situation continues to develop and to help you make decisions regarding travel that are best for you.
However, this situation is quite fluid and things can change in a hurry.
We recognize that spending time outside, with your cameras, can be a great way to help deal with this challenging time.
To provide you with flexibility in your travel plans due to travel health or safety concerns related to Coronavirus, Backcountry Journeys is currently working with guests on March & April bookings. We are waiving transfer fees but please know that there may be unrecoverable costs associated with your trip (such as advanced lodging, in-country flights etc). If you don’t have it already, this would be a good time to protect your travel investment with a low-cost travel insurance plan that includes “Cancel For Any Reason”.
If you have any questions about impending travel please call us at (928) 478-1521 or email email@example.com. We will respond to you as soon as we can.
For general information, we recommend utilizing the CDC website and the US Department of State Travel website as your main sources for current, accurate information and recommendations that pertain to travel and the Coronavirus.
We’ll continue to keep you as updated and as informed on the status of BCJ tours if/when anything changes.
As the founder of Backcountry Journeys I’ve been involved with the outdoor travel industry for over 20 years. Although these are uncertain times we have faced similar challenges in the past that have us positioned to remain flexible and weather the storm.
A wiser man than myself once said “This too shall pass”.
Know that when the time is right for you Backcountry Journeys will be here – stronger than ever before and ready to take you on the photography adventure of a lifetime!
We’ll see you soon – and whether that means this season, next fall or in 2021 – we’ll be here for you!
We wish you and your loved ones good health as we move through this unique situation together.
