Adobe Photoshop is without a doubt the most powerful post-processing tool for nature photographers. With that power, however, comes complexity. It’s just not all that intuitive, even compared to other post-processing software options. Let Backcountry Journeys make sense of it all for you. Our course will break down key features of the program in a simple, easy to understand way while highlighting the best practices for nature photography.
What You Will Get?
- Lifetime Access to the Course Materials.
- A Photoshop Course that you can navigate at your own pace.
- Weekly Office Hours where you will have LIVE access to the course instructor for questions and troubleshooting.
- Upon completion, you will have new skills and the confidence to apply learned techniques to your own photography.
Why Do You Need Us?
Photoshop, when you first come upon it, resembles the cockpit dashboard of a 747 aircraft – just an incredible amount of switches, buttons, and features. It’s overwhelming, to say the least. The key to mastering Photoshop is to create a workflow and a solid understanding as to which of those tools you actually need. We’ll separate the noise from the most important editing processes for nature photography, and show you how to develop an efficient workflow.
Instruction will consist of slide shows, hands-on use of the program, and case studies in which participants will have to perform certain Photoshop processes, with topics laid out in a simple to understand way.
BCJ’s innovative course is designed with beginners in mind, yet can provide for the seasoned user a refresh and introduction to the always advancing software. We’ll begin with an introduction to the program before advancing into beginner and intermediate editing techniques. You will learn how to organize the workspace, use various tools, make adjustments and selections, blend and merge photos, and more!
A Better Online Photography Education Platform
We realize that you can purchase post-processing video courses just about anywhere on the internet these days, so we set out to create a new and innovative format. Backcountry Journeys courses are designed to give you maximum value for the money, and for your time – and they are interactive!
What does that mean exactly? When you enroll in a course it means not only do you get lifetime access to the video course, but you’ll also be able to move through the materials entirely at your own pace. You’ll have access to your instructor during weekly ‘Office Hours,’ so that even though you are working through the course on your own, you’ll never be ‘alone’ during your journey.
The cost for this course is just $449.
