A compelling photographic workshop in the heart of Montana’s most rugged of Mountain Ranges – the high Beartooth. The remote Beartooth Range is alpine scenery at it’s finest with high mountain lakes, endless mountain landscapes and the possibility of seeing wildlife such as Bald eagles, Elk and Grizzly Bears. We will focus on camping at a different lake each night to maximize magic hour shooting.
All participants must be in good physical condition and have the ability to carry a 35 to 50 pound backpack up to seven miles or more per day and hike at altitudes averaging 10,000 to 12,000 feet in elevation. All participants must complete a registration form which includes a health questionaire. No prior backpacking experience is necessary however it is helpful.
This workshop is limited to six participants to maximize one on one time with the instructor.
When in the Beartooth Range we will be camping in backpacking tents along the shores of high mountain lakes. You are responsible for lodging before & after the trip dates.
