Coastal Brown Bears of Alaska

(1 Spot Left for 2018!)

  • June 19th to 23rd, 2018
  • $2895

Join us on the journey of a lifetime this summer to photograph the majestic Brown Bears of Coastal Alaska.  Coastal Brown Bears are massive with adult boars regularly reaching weights of 1200 pounds as they gorge on salmon, clams & sedges on the stunning coastline of the Alaskan Peninsula. Our trip takes us to the shores of Lake Clark National Park where we will spend several days at a beautiful beach-front camp in the wilderness amongst the great bears. Lake Clark National Park is remote and about 150 air miles from Anchorage. There are no roads leading into the park and the only access is by bush-plane!

Situated along the Canadian Border with Alberta, Glacier is nestled within the Lewis & Livingston Ranges of Montana’s Rocky Mountains. Jagged peaks rise to dizzying elevations and then drop into lush, glacially carved lakes and valleys. Mountains are usually capped in snow year-round and the valleys host deep forests of Engelmann Spruce, Douglas Fir and Western Larch. The park is a photographer’s playground

Situated on the Alaskan Peninsula, Katmai is some 300 air miles to the Southwest of Anchorage and 170 miles from Homer. There are no roads into Katmai and so the only access is by float plane!
