The Pacific Northwest, encompassing Washington and Oregon, is renowned for its stunning natural diversity. This region features dramatic coastlines, snow-capped mountains, and lush forests. The beautiful and rugged Oregon coast stretches roughly 363 miles, divided into three regions based on the geologic formations that define them. Long stretches of unbroken beaches of the North Coast give way to a the sea cliffs, terraces and bays of the Central Coast. The South Coast is marked by sea cliffs, beaches and mountains. Found on the southern end are the Coast Redwoods, which are among the oldest living organisms in the world living upwards of 2,000 years.
