Stunning Iceland Video by BCJ Guest Jimmy Song

Earlier this year several lucky Backcountry Journeys guests and our incredible guide, Doug Marshall, embarked on the photography trip of a lifetime. There are many stunning destinations that we travel to as a company, each with its own unique personality and photography opportunities, but, from the images I’ve seen and stories I’ve heard, this trip seemed to be something truly special.

As each member of this adventure departed their homes and made their way up to the far northern reaches of the globe in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, they finally came together at the starting point of their trip: Reykjavik, Iceland. They had just taken the first step into an otherworldly land of fire and ice where stunning landscape images wait around every corner. I’m talking of course about our incredibly popular Best of Iceland Photography Workshop.

This is one of our most popular photography trips in one of the most unique and naturally beautiful places on earth.
