Composition is such an important aspect of landscape photography. It makes or breaks an image – a great composition will surely make an image stand out.
Understanding and creating effective compositions can be hard, it can be a struggle, it can make you go crazy… But, It doesn’t have to be that way!
In this video, Matt Meisenheimer makes it easy. He lays out one of his most used compositional techniques – the Anchor Method. It’s a simple yet powerful technique based off the Rule of Thirds.
