As Homo sapiens we began our evolutionary journey on the plains of Africa and I believe it is only natural to have a desire to revisit this vast, untamed land of our creation.
Africa is quite simply like nowhere else on Earth and the expansive array of species that this land has formed are some of the most intriguing and fascinating subjects of wildlife photography today. In addition to observing the stunning wildlife, one can also experience a wide range of unique cultures.
Encompassing so many localized languages, ideologies, and societies, Africa is arguably the most culturally diverse continent on the planet. It’s estimated that there are close to 2,000 unique languages making Africa home to approximately one-third of all spoken languages on earth. It’s hard to think of a more interesting and diverse place, period.
