Join us on an extraordinary photographic journey through the wild heart of Botswana—one of Africa’s most diverse and visually stunning safari destinations. This immersive experience is designed exclusively for photographers, blending world-class wildlife viewing with thoughtfully curated accommodations and expert guidance every step of the way. From riverbanks teeming with elephants to predator-rich savannas and the star-lit silence of the Kalahari, each stop offers something completely different—and endlessly inspiring.
Our adventure begins on the legendary Chobe River, famous for its massive elephant herds and dramatic boat-based photography. Here, we’ll explore in custom-built eight-seater photo boats equipped with gimbal mounts, giving you unrivaled access and stability to capture everything from yawning hippos to golden-hour birdlife in motion. With the added bonus of land-based game drives, Chobe sets the tone for a trip packed with diversity and action.
Next, we journey into the lifeblood of Botswana—the Okavango Delta. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the delta is an oasis of life where big cats, elephants, and antelope converge around glimmering water channels and golden grasslands. From our base in a private concession, we’ll explore this landscape in intimate 4-person vehicles, maximizing both comfort and shooting potential. Expect heart-pounding encounters with lions and leopards, and tranquil moments as giraffes stride past acacia groves glowing in the afternoon light.
The final leg takes us into the soul of the desert: the Central Kalahari. This remote, otherworldly environment offers a completely different palette—rich ochres, sweeping horizons, and iconic desert-adapted species like oryx and bat-eared foxes. From a spectacular underground hide, you’ll have the rare chance to photograph wildlife at eye level, and night drives open the door to elusive nocturnal species under a sky dusted with stars. You’ll even walk alongside San Bushmen and gain insight into the ancient relationship between people and the land.
This is a visual odyssey across Botswana’s most photogenic ecosystems, thoughtfully paced and expertly supported. Whether you're capturing the spray from a hippo's yawn, the intensity in a lion’s stare, or the serene stillness of an elephant at sunset, this trip is designed to take your wildlife photography to the next level in one of Africa’s last great wildernesses.

Day 1: Arrival in Johannesburg (D)
We’ll kick things off with our arrival in Johannesburg, where we’ll be met at the airport by our guide after clearing customs. You'll be transferred to our comfortable overnight stay at the City Lodge O.R. Tambo. This hotel is conveniently located right at the airport, giving us a smooth and easy start before we head into the wilds of Botswana. We'll take this opportunity to meet our group at a dinner/orientation, get a good night’s rest, and prepare for the adventure ahead.
Days 2–4: Chobe River – Pangolin Chobe Hotel (B,L,D)
This morning, we’ll board a flight to Kasane, Botswana, where our safari officially begins. We’ll settle into the Pangolin Chobe Hotel, perched on a plateau with sweeping views of the Chobe River floodplain. Over the next three days, we’ll split our time between morning and afternoon outings—either by custom eight-seater photo boat or game drive vehicle. Chobe is known for some of Africa’s highest concentrations of elephants, along with plentiful hippos, buffalo, crocs, and an abundance of birdlife. With the support of expert guides and specially designed gear setups, we’ll have the perfect setup to capture incredible wildlife moments right from the start.
Days 5–7: Okavango Delta – Rra Dinare Camp (B,L,D)
After a scenic charter flight, we’ll touch down in the legendary Okavango Delta—one of Africa’s most iconic ecosystems. Our home for the next three nights is Rra Dinare Camp, nestled in a private concession teeming with wildlife. Each day, we’ll head out on morning and afternoon game drives in specially outfitted 4-person vehicles, offering exceptional opportunities to photograph predators like lions and leopards, as well as herds of plains game, giraffes, and elephants in the shimmering light of the delta. The rhythm of the delta is slow and wild, and we’ll get to experience its beauty up close.
Days 8–10: Central Kalahari – Dinaka Camp (B,L,D)
We’ll fly south into a starkly different landscape—the Central Kalahari. Our base, Dinaka Camp, sits on the edge of a private reserve bordering the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Over the next few days, we’ll explore this arid wonderland on game drives in two 4-person vehicles, visit a remarkable underground hide that offers unique eye-level wildlife photography, and even walk with San Bushmen to learn about traditional survival skills. The night skies here are absolutely dazzling, and we’ll make the most of the clear desert evenings with some stargazing and the possibility of night drives to seek out elusive nocturnal species.
Day 11: Departure from Maun (B)
This morning, we’ll say farewell to the Kalahari as we board our final charter flight to Maun. From here, we’ll connect to our international flights or onward travel, wrapping up an unforgettable journey through the best of Botswana’s diverse and wild landscapes
