Day 0 (Travel Day)
If you are joining our Alaska Northern Lights trip after participating in Brown Bears of Katmai in the Fall you will travel from King Salmon, Alaska to Fairbanks, Alaska (flight not included) today. You will have a room at our hotel in Fairbanks (included). If you are joining our Alaska Northern Lights trip either as a standalone trip or after participating in Polar Bears of the Alaskan Arctic – there is no “Day 1” as your trip will start on Day 2.
Day 1 (D)
We will have an orientation dinner at 5pm at our hotel in Fairbanks. After preliminary instruction on Northern Lights Photography it’s off into the night for an incredible first night of Northern Lights Photography. We have secured several remote cabins in the region for a variety of compositions.
Days 2 - 3 (B,D)
We’ll spend three full evenings photographing the Northern Lights around Fairbanks. Each night we’ll head out to different locations and photograph the Aurora Borealis! During the day, you can catch up on much needed sleep or explore the town of Fairbanks. Every evening before we head out there will be an instructional session and some time to help improve our photography.
Day 4 (B)
After our final night of shooting the Northern Lights you can book tickets home at any point today.
