Day 1 (Travel Day) (D)
Plan to arrive in Haines on the first day. You will need to fly into Juneau, Alaska the day before the trip starts, and take either a ferry or a plane over to Haines
Days 2 - 4 (B,L,D)
Each day of this trip we will go to the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve in search of Bald Eagles. The itinerary is flexible, and our photography schedule will depend on the light and weather conditions. Most of our photographs will be taken from the beach with a sturdy tripod. The Eagles will be in great numbers along the river and we will all get thousands of keepers and some great instruction as well. Aside from Eagles we will also probably have a chance to photograph other seabirds and marine life such as Sea Otters and Harbor Seals.
Day 5 (B)
Ferry or flights out of Haines can be scheduled after our trip conclude time. Flights home should be scheduled from Juneau, Alaska.
