Day 1 (Travel Day) (D)
Plan to arrive in El Paso, Texas for orientation and dinner on day one. We’ll do introductions, discuss logistics for the week, and eat dinner. We’ll depart El Paso for Big Bend National Park early the next morning.
Please note: It is a 6 hour drive from El Paso, TX to Big Bend National Park.
Days 2 - 5 (B,L,D)
We’ll spend the next few days photographing Big Bend National Park. We will be staying in between the state and national parks, which gives us great access to many photography locations. A typical day will include photographing sunrise, doing some short hikes in the desert, searching for wildlife, doing some post-processing, and capturing sunset at the end of the day. If conditions permit, we may even do some astrophotography. These will be action-packed days. There is a ton to photograph around the park and we want to make it to all the best spots!
Day 6 (B)
On the morning of day six, we’ll enjoy one more sunrise in the park. Afterwards, we’ll have breakfast as a group and head back to El Paso, TX (6 hour drive) for evening flights.
