Day 1 (Travel Day)
Arrive to Ljubljana, Slovenia. An airport transfer will be awaiting your arrival and will transport you to our arrival hotel in Ljubljana.

Day 2: Arrive at Lake Bled (L,D)
We'll meet as a group at the arrival hotel for an orientation and then transfer to the charming town of Bled, where our adventure begins. In the afternoon, we’ll head out for our first photography session, capturing the golden light over the iconic Lake Bled, with its stunning island church and surrounding mountains. In the evening, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner to get to know each other and discuss plans for the upcoming days.

Days 3-4: Exploring Lakes Bled and Bohinj (B,L,D)
We’ll dedicate the next two days to photographing the Gorenjska region, starting each morning with breathtaking sunrise sessions at Lake Bled’s serene shores. During the day, we’ll visit the spectacular Vintgar Gorge, perfect for experimenting with long exposures as we capture fast-flowing water and dramatic scenery. We’ll also explore the tranquil Lake Bohinj, where we’ll hone our composition skills while capturing reflections and picturesque surroundings. Afternoons will take us to nearby villages to photograph traditional hayracks and scenes of rural life, culminating each evening with sunset shoots by the lakes.

Days 5-6: Soca River Valley and Triglav National Park (B,L,D)
Our journey continues as we traverse the Vrsic Pass, Slovenia’s highest mountain pass, offering spectacular views of the Julian Alps. We’ll descend into the Soca River Valley to explore more of Triglav National Park. The emerald waters of the Soca River, along with its gorges and waterfalls, will provide stunning opportunities for landscape photography. We may even spot wildlife along the riverbanks or photograph World War I remnants that dot the trails. Each location offers dramatic scenery that will inspire creativity and elevate our photography.

Days 7-8: Plitvice Lakes National Park (B,L,D)
We’ll bid farewell to Slovenia and drive to Croatia, where we’ll spend two days exploring the stunning Plitvice Lakes National Park. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a paradise for photographers, with its cascading waterfalls, crystal-clear lakes, and lush greenery. We’ll focus on capturing the park’s beauty through various techniques, including long exposures and creative compositions. Afternoons will offer time for solo exploration before regrouping for golden hour sessions to capture the magical interplay of light and reflections.

Day 9: Sunrise Shoot and Departure (B)
On our final morning, we’ll take advantage of the soft light to photograph one last sunrise location within Plitvice Lakes or visit nearby Rastoke village, known for its charming waterfalls and cascades. After our morning session, we’ll transfer to Zagreb Airport, concluding our incredible journey through Slovenia and Croatia with unforgettable memories and stunning photographs.
