Trip Itinerary

Day 1 (Travel Day)(D)
Plan to arrive in Seattle, WA for orientation and dinner. We’ll do introductions, discuss logistics for the week, and eat dinner. We’ll depart Seattle for Mount Rainier National Park early the next morning.
Days 2 - 5 (B,L,D)
We’ll spend the next few days photographing Mount Rainier National Park. We have handpicked lodging to put us in close proximity to many of the most picturesque areas of the park. A typical day will include photographing wildflower blooms at sunrise, hiking to some waterfalls, exploring the old-growth forests of the park, doing some post-processing, and capturing sunset over Mount Rainier. If conditions permit, we may even do some astrophotography. These will be action-packed days. There is a ton to photograph around the park and we want to make it to all the best spots!
Day 6 (B)
On the morning of Day Six, we’ll enjoy one more sunrise in the park. Afterwards, we’ll have breakfast as a group before making the journey back to Seattle, WA.

Please note that the exact sequence of the itineraries on all photography trips will be based on weather and lighting conditions. The goal on these trips is to make sure we are at the right place at the right time for the perfect light on our subjects. Also, itineraries can change for a variety of other circumstances including floods, forest fires, national park closures, road closures, and more. Due to the nature of wildlife and landscape photography, we do not guarantee any specific sightings or specific compositions.
