Happy Labor Day, friends of Backcountry Journeys!
Since 1894 we have come together as a nation to recognize the first Monday of each September, as Labor Day.
As many of us have today free from the demands of our work, let us take time to give tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country!
We may celebrate this year a bit differently than normal, as social distancing and limitations on public gatherings have likely canceled plans. But, remember, it does not take a parade, picnic, or a party to recognize the meaning behind this National Holiday.
Here’s to labor!
