Introducing BCJ Live/Webinar Platform Upgrade

Welcome to BCJ Live, Backcountry Journeys home for live events & webinar productions you can join from the comfort of your own home or office. You’ve likely seen already this new branding and terminology, as we’ve been using it unofficially over the course of the past few weeks. It’s time to formally introduce it today. We’ve also updated our Webinar Platform, which should provide a better overall experience!

For nearly a year, Backcountry Journeys trip leaders have enjoyed producing free webinar content for you on topics ranging from photo editing to composition & more, plus a ton of interesting programs on our favorite photo trip destinations. That same great content will continue, and look for even more on this page in the near future, too! For now, you’ll find on this page our webinar presentation calendar where you can see what is ahead, as well as where you can register for each event.

Webinar Platform Upgrade

Backcountry Journeys has also recently upgraded our webinar platform so as to order to provide a better overall experience. Our same great BCJ Live webinar productions will now feature improved connectivity, beautifully rendered HD video, and a cleaner, simpler more intuitive live webinar experience powered by state-of-the-art technology. As such, we will need to ask that you re-register for any webinar presentations you’d previously registered for, and would still like to join. We do apologize for this inconvenience. *You do not need to re-send images submitted for upcoming Image Review sessions.

BCJ Live Schedule

Below is the current up-to-date BCJ Live Webinar Schedule. We’d love for you to join us for one, or all, of these exciting presentations, so take a look and register for any topics that are of interest. And, keep checking the BCJ Live webpage for new presentations, as we typically will add a new presentation to this calendar each week. Simply visit the Backcountry Journeys homepage, click on the ‘Learn’ tab, and the ‘BCJ Live.’

Kenton Krueger has spent the past several years guiding backpackers, hikers, and photographers into the wild places of the American West such as Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Yosemite, Glacier, Katmai, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches, Canyonlands National Parks, as well as internationally in Costa Rica & Brazil. In addition to backpacking and camping, his adventures include rock climbing, exploring the slot canyons of southern Utah, mountain biking, and bagging 14ers in Colorado’s San Juan Mountain Mountain Range. Kenton is a trail runner, former pilot, and spent roughly five years writing and photographing for the award-winning Omaha World-Herald newspaper, out of his hometown, Omaha, Nebraska. Kenton looks forward to utilizing his years of trip leading and guiding experience, combined with his passion and experience behind the lens, to provide memorable and unforgettable experiences at the wild places we will visit together.
