Zion National Park:
Our epic desert adventure starts out in the towering canyons and sandstone domes of Zion National Park. Over the course of two days, we’ll explore and photograph the many iconic shot locations of the park. We’ll delve deep into the heart of the canyon carved out by the Virgin River and will climb high up onto the plateaus above. Zion National Park is a truly unique and awe-inspiring location full of superb landscape opportunities. It’s the perfect place to start off this ultimate desert experience!
Bryce Canyon National Park:
Next, we’ll head up in elevation and venture into the other-worldly landscape of Bryce Canyon. With its vast amphitheaters filled with intricate mazes of hoodoos there’s no shortage of stunning compositions here. During our time in Bryce, we’ll capture mesmerizing sunrises and sunsets from the top of the plateau and will explore narrow passageways through the hoodoos themselves. Bryce canyon presents countless unique and jaw-dropping compositions just waiting to be captured. The sunrises here are particularity special as they slowly illuminate each of the amphitheaters facing to the east.
Horseshoe Bend and Slot Canyons:
As our journey continues, we’ll drop in elevation travelling through layers of rock and time as we head Southeast towards the Grand Canyon, ultimately arriving in Page, Arizona. This small town, nestled in the desert, is the perfect home base for the next leg of our journey as it’s in close proximity to our next several shot locations. While here, we’ll head out to the iconic Horseshoe bend where the Colorado River cuts a beautiful arc through layers of sandstone. We’ll also head deep into the depths of the world-famous slot canyon, Antelope Canyon X, to capture intricate patterns of warm light as it finds its way through this narrow crack in the earth.
The South Rim of the Grand Canyon:
Our epic exploration of the Colorado Plateau will conclude at one of the most remarkable places on the entire planet: The South rim of the Grand Canyon. For our final two days, we will travel to many stunning locations overlooking one of nature’s greatest marvels. We’ll have the opportunity to capture expansive landscape compositions at sunrise, sunset, and while illuminated by the everchanging light of both the golden and blue hours. The Grand Canyon is unlike anywhere else on earth, and your destined to leave this magical place with photos and memories to last a lifetime!

Day 1 (D)
Arrive in St. George, Utah for an evening orientation and welcome dinner
Day 2 (B,L,D)
We’ll depart early from our hotel in St. George and make our way to Zion National Park to capture the sunrise at an iconic location. Throughout the rest of the day, we will explore and photograph several other must-see locations throughout the park. We’ll wrap up today with a sunset shoot capitalizing on the mystical desert light of the golden hour.
Day 3 (B,L,D)
We will spend today exploring more iconic destinations throughout Zion National Park. We’ll start out with an early-morning sunrise shoot at an ideal location. After this we’ll explore new areas of the park and we’ll wrap up the day with another superb sunset shoot.
Day 4 (B,L,D)
This morning, we will depart early and make our way to Bryce Canyon National Park for a stellar sunrise shoot overlooking the parks many amphitheaters. Bryce Canyon truly shines at sunrise. For the remainder of the day we will explore other world-class shot locations throughout the park. We’ll check into our hotel and then head out for a sunset shoot.
Day 5 (B,L,D)
This entire day will be dedicated to exploring and photographing Bryce Canyon National Park. We’ll start out with another expansive sunrise shoot at a new location and will explore other new shot locations throughout the day. We’ll wrap up our time in Bruce with yet another sunrise shoot.
Day 6 (B,L,D)
We’ll wake up early and head out towards our next destination: Page, Arizona. On this day we will explore some iconic desert locations in the region including the world-famous Horseshoe Bend and some other amazing desert locales nearby.
Day 7 (B,L,D)
We'll start the morning with a slot canyon tour of Antelope Canyon X. We’ll make our way though this incredible narrow passageway of sandstone and capture unique patterns of light. Afterwards, we'll make our way to the final destination of our trip: The South Rim of the Grand Canyon. We’ll arrive in time for a stunning sunrise shoot overlooking the vast expanse of the Big Ditch. We’ll spend the rest of the day exploring other shot locations in the area and will check into our hotel. We’ll wrap the day up with a sunset shoot.
Day 8 (B,L,D)
On our last full day of the trip, we’ll once again get up early for a sunrise shoot at a new location overlooking the Grand Canyon. We’ll spend the rest of the day exploring the region and capturing more landscape images of some of the best locations in the entire desert southwest.
Day 9 (B)
On our final day, we will venture out one more time for a morning session. After this we’ll make our way to Flagstaff, Arizona where our trip will officially conclude around 2 pm.
